Equal Application of Agreement
The UAW
and Chrysler are committed to maintaining a workplace
free of discrimination. So much so that we put it in writing.
The National Agreement between the UAW and Chrysler
states that contract provisions will be extended without
discrimination
due to race, color, religion, age, national origin, physical
disability or sex – including sexual harassment.
At each
facility, a local Equal Application of Agreement (EAA) Committee
helps us meet that goal by ensuring adherence to federal,
state and local laws, as well as UAW-Chrysler policy.
With support of the National EAA Committee, the local committees
also provide training to help people understand the impact
of their behavior in the workplace.
