You
bet there is. With some careful planning, you can look
forward to a worry-free, well-deserved and rewarding
retirement. And the UAW-DaimlerChrysler Future Planning
Program is there to help.
Workers
and their spouses consider various aspects of their
retirement years in this 10-session program held at
Local Union halls. Each session is devoted to a different
topic with experts providing information and guidance
on the issues listed below.
The Future Planning Program
Participant's Manual is now online.
The
manual includes the classroom materials you'll be using
in the sessions at your Local Union hall. To view them,
click
here or click the photo of the manual.
You will be able to download
the manual as a series of printable files.

You don't
have to wait until you're nearing retirement to benefit from
this program. In fact, the sooner you start to plan for your
life of leisure, the easier the transition will be.
How
do I sign up?
There's a UAW and a DaimlerChrysler Future Planning Facilitator
at your location. Let one of them know you're interested in
participating. (If you don't know who that person is, talk
to your Benefits Representative or Personnel Manager.) You
can also contact Darrell
Motley or Jesse Phillips
at the NTC for more information.
